Summary

 

The Expeditor will support the movement of product through final operations and the “reporting” Production Control responsibilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities detailed below, but not limited to the following:

 

  • Monitor and move jobs/parts through Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection, Packaging, and to Shipping for shipment to customers.
  •  
  • Report shipment slips, Final Inspection rejections, and customer Source Inspection issues.

 

  • Populate and manage the Ship to Customer Report
    • Provide First Article Inspection and Source Inspection sub-report to Quality and Managers.
    •  
  • Manage the Quality Inspection Tracker for all Final and Receiving Inspection operations.
  •  
  • Populate and send status reports to customers.

 

  • Prepare IDC Job Traveler packets for production floor.
  •  
  • Job Traveler management:
    • Pull Job Travelers from shop floor and present to Engineering Department for revision due to internally generated ECRs.
    • Pull Job Travelers from shop floor and present to Engineering Department for revision due to customers PO amendments that require job traveler changes.
    • Re-distribute Job Travelers to shop floor after engineering updates
    • Certified received goods management:
      • Prioritize receiving inspection
      • Move received goods from shipping to proper staging areas.
    • Milestone management
    • Purchase Order processing and job release
    • Job Travelers
      • Creation and loading machine resources for all customers

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Understands the scope of product containment.
