Duties/Responsibilities:
· Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift.
· Implementation of changes in orders to increase production flow and quality.
· Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
· Reports any process and equipment problems.
· Trains, upgrades, evaluates, and reviews employees.
· Organizes work for smooth operations.
· Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.
· Verifies correct identification, inventory, and warehousing of products.
· Supervises department job orders and verifies that paperwork is correctly signed.
· Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.
· Responsible for all production and tooling issues and troubleshooting problems.
· Implements change in order to increase production flow and quality.
· Coordinates, monitors and supervises the activities of the Team, ensuring individual member goals are achieved in support of assigned Team goals.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge of machine, standard test equipment, and plant processes
· Strong organizational skills
· Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
