2nd Shift Mon-Fri 4 PM-Midnight
Provide customer service to truck driver’s in our shipping and receiving front office. Assist truck drivers with check in process, assigning their doors, and all the way through until they depart our facility.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers and visitors at facility
- May receive, count and log cash received by carriers
- Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
- Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system
- Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals
- Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary
- Answer phone calls coming into facility and transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Ability to stand for at least 5 hours in total during shift
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite basic knowledge (outlook, excel, word)
- Ability to work schedule listed. We follow an attendance point system and expect our team members to arrive on time and work full scheduled shift.
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment. Our Traffic Clerks share office space with other team members across multiple shifts.
- Adherence to professional dress code is required
