Job Summary:
Milwaukee client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Duties:
- Develop CNC programs using CAM programming software
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges
- Ensure adherence to GD&T standards for quality control
- Utilize CAD software for part design and modification
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls for machine operation
- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM)
Skills:
- Proficient in CAM programming for CNC machines
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and techniques
- Understanding of GD&T principles
- Experience with CAD software for design purposes
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls for machine operation
