Is this role you will repair heavy mobile equipment such as large front-end loaders and mobile cranes (not overhead cranes, these are large material handlers with grapple or magnet attachments). You will work with the equipment operators to teach them basic daily PM’s such as greasing. Mechanic will perform more detailed work such as PM’s that are less frequent than daily; hose repair and replacement, etc. Will work with Maintenance Supervisor to determine which work will be done in-house vs. done by outside contractors. Will instruct parts dept. (who reports to Maintenance Supervisor) which parts are needed for repair so they can be on-hand and have replacements ready. This is mostly independent work – in this role you will be with 1 of 2 Heavy mobile equipment maintenance mechanics that work full-time at the facility, so there is someone else to assist with bigger jobs. If you are someone who has had previous experience working for company such as American State you will be great.
Start time 5-6am, end time approx. 3-5pm Mon – Fri. Averages about 50-55 hrs/wk.
