Job Description

Job Scope     

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on all facility equipment.  Primary focus will be on maintenance and repair of large stationary equipment.

Essential Functions

 

  • Maintain plant productivity and up time by proactively performing a comprehensive maintenance function, including parts inventory and tools management, preventative maintenance, root-cause analysis and minor fabrication and design activities.
  • Inspect and conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Maintain and implement maintenance management software and create PM schedules, track maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts
  • Identify and order spare parts, track inventory physically and in software system
  • Assign, review and check work of maintenance done by production labor employees, providing on-the-job training as needed
  • Design, weld, torch, and otherwise fabricate minor modifications to the plant equipment
  • Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and PLC systems.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned or directed.
