Hours- 9:30am-6:00pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
· Maintain conveyors
· Service air filtration and ventilation systems
· Ensure proper operation of exhaust fans and dust collectors.
· Maintain pneumatic tools.
· Conduct regular checks on safety systems
· Maintain forklifts, hoists, and conveyors
· Replace worn-out parts such as bearings, belts, or motors.
· Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
· Ensure machines meet safety standards and that guards, locks, and emergency systems function correctly.
· Communicate with department supervisors and leads regarding the status of work orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Understanding mechanical components like gears, belts, bearings, and shafts.
· Familiarity with troubleshooting and repair of equipment such cranes, hydraulic presses, and pneumatic tools.
· Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, circuit diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
· Awareness of OSHA regulations for workplace safety.Knowledge of principles of equipment inspection, lubrication, and wear detection.
· Ability to fabricate or modify parts using cutting, welding, and machining techniques.
· Skill in aligning, calibrating, and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
· Strong attention to detail – Recognizing early signs of wear, misalignment, or malfunction to prevent major breakdowns.
· Ability to resolve complex mechanical issues.
· Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing time to minimize equipment downtime.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
