In this role you will be doing scheduled & unscheduled maintenance on our autos shredder. No prior experience on autos shredder required – that is scrap-industry specific. Must have Wire or Stick welding exp. Prefer candidate that has some experience working on moving conveyor belt systems. Good opportunity for someone who is good with welding and has mechanical aptitude to progress within the maintenance function, we want to train and develop. Will work with our Operations Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisor, as well as side by side with some of our higher level outside maintenance contractors who are full millwrights. Works with team of 4 – 5 direct hire employees. Paying $27-30/hr plus $0.85/hr NSP.
Hours 4:00pm – end time approx. 12midnight – 3am, Monday nights – Fri nights (shift start). Averages about 45-60 hrs/wk.
